Looking for a way to highlight the upcoming presidential debates? How about a PARTY! With all the mad looks, smiles, hands in the air and winking going on during the debates how can you not want to celebrate. Entertainment like this is fleeting and you must grab it while it lasts. Come November it will be too late, at least for a Debate party! Ya gotta give em while they're hot! You Betcha! So grab all those hockey and soccer moms out there and get em working on a good golly celebration! The first thing you need to set the mood with is appropriate decorations. Political party plates, cups, napkins and wall decorations. Try sectioning off parts of the room as political 'hot spots' for lively debate debates. Of course what Washington style party would be a party without the appropriate alcoholic beverages in red, white and blue color schemes. Food can be the same way. Obama is from Illinois so you can have regional 'Chicago style' foods like deep dish pizza, beer and brats! McCain, being from Arizona, will be paired with southwestern favorites involving beans, rice and tequila! You must not forget what debates are all about, noise makers! Top your party off with a healthy amount of red, white and blue balloons on the ceiling that you can release at the end of the debate, call a truce and enjoy the good times! There's never a bad reason to have a party with some personality!
