It's getting to be that time again when the warmer states get their annual influx of cold weather states 'folk' and the European visitors seeking a taste of sun and fun. This is also the point where retailers are hoping the foreign visitors will pull up sales numbers going into the end of the year when, for many, it's make or break time. The economy has put a degree of crunch on stores trying to keep their heads above water, and sadly there are retail names that will be no more such as Circuit City and Linens n' Things. The majority of the big box retailers have already popped Xmas into the store to hopefully capture some of the holiday dough, and I don't mean female deer (I know, doe)! With people trying to scrape what money they can get to visit relatives or loved ones 'elsewhere', they're looking for travel deals and packages that offer more for less, hoping for price reductions to capture their business. Shop around and save where you can. Coach is cheaper than Business, unless the pilots have fallen asleep. Cars? Do you really need the sedan when a compact will do, better on gas too. Shop smart, save what you can, and have fun when you get there!
