I'm just saying, who has time to get yourself out of work and to a class or two so that you can try to scratch out a better salary? I don't, and most of the rest of you will be in complete agreement with me on that. Given the opportunity to maybe work some extra hours for a little more 'scratch' in our paycheck versus hurrying to a class for the potential for 'future' monetary gain, the quick and now money usually wins. On the other hand, maybe your one of the ones that recently fell onto hard times and doesn't have that regular position. In this event you may have the time to attend a community college or something similar while you search for employment.
So it's settled. You have determined that you have time to fit online education into your schedule. This works out very well as you set the pace and class times that work for you. Now, what are you going to study? Finance? No, those people are getting the axe faster than the laborers are! Business Management is another hot potato career right now, maybe in five years or so. What then? I want you to stop and think about the education program that you've elected top follow. Wait for it! Online business strategies. This is where we're going to be from here on. It used to be that if you had a Masters Degree it would be included on your resume, then it was left off because of applicant fear of looking too qualified and scaring a potential hiring manager away thinking, "they won't be happy with this job, they'll be wanting mine soon". It may sound ridiculous but it's true. Let's skip to the here and now. Even the military is looking for a few 'exceptionally talented and educated' good people! The education game is on again and the masters candidates are a valuable commodity once more.
Have you figured out what one of the top needs will be for online businesses in the near and distant future? The one thing people always feared about the Internet is there for the taking, information security. The people who are poised for advancement are the ones with a masters information security, people trained in the technical skills that keep money flowing through the information circuits safely. Companies will require it in order to keep the darker elements of our society away from the inner works of business and finance. Banks, manufacturers, and service companies will need qualified people who can keep information secure for them. When a company has security breaches it creates harm to their business name and people shy away from sharing their data with them, instead going to the competition. Government agencies have been recruiting people with these skills, as well as those who cause breaches, in order to help close gaps in the information chain. There are some schools out there that are poised to provide that education for you and I've provided a link in this article for you to explore.
