Vacation Request Time for 2010 is Here.

I just got the sheet for picking when I want to take my vacation next year. If you don't select a week or two now it may not be available when we choose a destination that has openings available. I think it's too soon but I don't make the work rules, I just have to live by them. We have selected a few destinations that we haven't been to yet, all of them attractive sites. We're deciding between Las Vegas Casino Week rentals, Alaskan Wilderness vacation rentals, a Outer Banks vacation rental, and even a few vacation rentals in the Caribbean. We've both done the Caribbean thing and as far as Vegas is concerned, we can afford the trip but not the gambling! That's a big N O to Vegas this year! I'd do Alaska from a cruise ship but not the 'cabin thing', I don't feel like getting up close and personal with a bear or wolf, not my idea of 'fun'. We both love the ocean, we grew up along the ocean in Massachusetts. I have an uncle in the Carolina's I'd like to see again since he's getting on in years, like the rest of us! I have no issues with the Outer Banks, I've heard it's beautiful there and I'm getting tired of the Gulf all the time, I need to smell the ocean again. Now I just need to coordinate a booking and vacation date. Wish me luck!
