The Quest Never Ends.
One of my other blogs has been getting a lot of attention regarding some posts I've made regarding weight loss products and other types of supplements. I have to be very careful as to what types of supplements I take because I take a Beta Blocker for my blood pressure and things like Ginseng and Flax could potentially cause my meds to not work. That would be counter productive for my greater health issues. You take meds to lower your blood pressure because(in part) of weight issues, then you take a supplement to help you lose weight in order to reduce your meds, and the supplements that weren't researched properly have now caused your pressure to increase because your meds no longer are effective. Makes no sense to me and I'm sure if your in a similar situation you can relate easily. Everybody with extra pounds to lose is looking for diet pills that work. Who wouldn't want a pill that would drop those cottage cheese pounds off that butt or a cutting edge prototype 37c or something that will tone and tighten wrinkles on the not so young? Everybody would love that because everybody wants to look good. What did Fernando say.It is better to LOOK good than to FEEL good! You get the drift. My advice: before taking any herbal based supplements contact your pharmacist if you currently take prescription drugs like BP meds, statins, etc and see about negative interactions. It's good to be slim but it's better to be alive and healthy, both is great!

How Safe is Safe?
It's funny that when the economy got tougher people actually started to get concerned for their health. The main reason, I surmise, is that if you stay on top of your health you 'could' avoid expensive health issues later. For the most part I would have to agree, even though it's something that should be a priority ALL the time. How some go about their health care regimen gets a little grey in places. It seems that some people adopt a body part and tend to it rather directly and let other areas go by the wayside. Take for example your skin and Ultra Violet radiation derived from the sun. Expensive blocking and moisturizing agents are acquired and applied religiously, even when sun exposure may be at a minimum, such as when it's raining all day! Others are taking fish oil for their heart health, zinc for their skin and nerves, vitamin C in ridiculously high doses for common colds and the newest ones are the colon cleansers and a good way to compare them is by checking colonix reviews. Farrah Fawcett brought attention this one to the forefront due to her long battle, and ultimate demise, with anal cancer. Colonoscopy's are becoming more widely accepted as a right of passage for the 50's and up age group as a means for prevention, and a good legitimate one at that. I need to get one scheduled for early next year. I'm not looking forward to it, even though others that I know that have done it say it's no big deal and painless, but it is an important test. I also want to do it while the insurance will cover it.

Keeping it Real!
Why on Earth would someone who makes over a million dollars a year (lots more than me) put their career at stake to use an illegal growth hormone? It just doesn't make sense because they face contract termination and even jail time not to mention disqualification of awards and entry into their respective Hall of Fame being removed. Look what happened to Pete Rose for making a bunch of bets. Gambling is a sickness but they didn't care because it said in the rules that you couldn't do it, no matter what the situation and the same goes for hgh injections. It creates an unfair player advantage and will also cut ones life short. Remember Lyle Alzado? He died of brain cancer due to hgh injections just to be a better football player. Just plain stupid but from their perspective I can kind of understand it, not condone it, just understand it. When the players start to back away from their career highs they start to fear non renewal of contracts and being put out to pasture while the younger, stronger person comes to take their place. They don't need to be taking what is illegal when they could take legal hgh supplements that work to allow their own body to manufacture it's own human growth hormone. If the body still won't produce it with the use of legal supplements than it won't produce it! Keep working out and pray you didn't make a wrong decision by not going to college when you had the chance. It's not worth the risk to you or your loved ones to get 'juiced' while there are legal and safe hgh supplements out there to help boost what you already have.

European Influences Rise With the Economy
It seems to me that I see more and more the influence of the European community rising when the dollar is doing better than expected. I truly think that's how soccer finally caught on in the States, especially when it had always been considered the 'ugly sister' of football. Polo is another thing that I've seen on the satellite channels in the past few years and it's starting to appear again since the Dow went over 10,000 again. I guess that's why the horse tack shops are still in business. Owning a horse, whether it's for polo or most often not, is an expensive hobby unless you own a farm and it's earning it's keep. When the economy tanked out people were leaving their horses in peoples fields here in Florida and the field owners were hard pressed to care for them, some of which looked underfed for quite some time. When we see leisure activities on the rise I think that's a great sign of peoples confidence in the country's ability to restore the economy to where it once had been and a positive outlook is always welcome nowadays! Trying to emulate the relaxed lifestyle of Europe is one way for some who can afford to enjoy themselves and swim into the deeper end of the pool for a change.

Never Get Too Comfortable Anymore.
The stock market went down to just under 8000 a little over a year ago and today it's just over 11,000. Who'd have thought it so soon. This morning it was down 12 but I stopped worrying about morning trends a long time ago. I've resorted to doing as many things as I can on the cheap or the very, very cheap(free). You never know when it may hit 8000 again! I'm talking about employment opportunities, health insurance, car insurance, gas prices, etc. I could go on and on and you know I could because there are so many things that the Internet can provide. Just about all of the things I listed here are free for the asking, information that is. If your looking for a job there are sites like that Career-Builder site and Yahoo jobs. Maybe it's automobile, life, health, or dental insurance and you want some home insurance quotes as well, they're all there for the taking! Do you need to find a 'good' inexpensive place to get your car painted? It's there! How about new screens for the porch. Yup, you guessed it, there! Sometimes it's all in the way you ask the Internet for what you want but there are many sites that will consolidate your searches by combining many types of services under one roof, per se. Don't pick up the phone and call the first place you see in the yellow pages, do some free homework and you may just end up saving enough money to do something nice for yourself, or better yet - someone special!

I Hope I Didn't Forget Anything.
Here I am wanting to take a trip and I still haven't taken care of my insurance since taking my new job. I guess I've put it off for a little while now, say a 24 months worth of time. The family is busting my chops to do something before I get out the door to take my vacation that I prearranged a year ago, which is a year after I got hired. I'm glad I looked at the calendar to see when all the political and retail stuff had peaked first. What I need to do is find a reputable web site where I can get honest, term life insurance rates. I have my car all set but I can't get life insurance with them because they are in the middle of switching underwriters, whatever that means. I don't know, that's what I pay them to know. If I'm ever going to get out of the country, or at least the state, I better contact someone tomorrow. That's what I like about the internet, it never sleeps!

Credit Isn't All Bad Nowadays.
I'm still wearing my consumer advocate hat in hopes of saving you even more money and stress. Losing stress is a good thing, right? Especially where so many individuals are operating small businesses on the Internet now. The need for payment processing needs to be the least of your worries and the ability to accept credit cards online is very important indeed. There are many companies out there that are willing to take a nice cut from your earnings to provide credit card services but I won't mention them. That's not what this blog is all about. We're here to get you an advantage in the deal and maybe something more. With merchant services you have several options depending on how you do business and how you may want your business to evolve in the future. For this instance I will highlight the eCommerce particulars. Services can ultimately include business cash advances, business loans, merchant services, EFT check processing and merchant gift cards. Customer documentation can even include such items as an epson receipt printer for customers who want printed receipts in a classic format. These are the same services the big boys of retail use! I personally like using my credit cards because of the security they offer me in case of purchase dispute or warranty claims. If you float your credit obligations from month to month make sure your rate of interest in affordable, otherwise plan for early payoffs. Making money via credit services is also a fine idea so long as your competitive and maintain your knowledge of current credit and business trends. So long as you use your credit cards intelligently, they are the best way to make purchases. Often if a receipt is lost many card companies have the information you need to get resolution on issues that may arise with merchants, whether your the merchant or not.

Do Your Diet Homework Reading Assignments
Fat loss products and techniques sounds like a method of weight loss but it really isn't. Fat loss products are a group of products that are often labeled as Fat Burners, Fat Absorbers, Cortisol therapy, Diet Pills, Water pills, Fat Non-Digestion Pills (true enough) as well as many generic herbal blends. Fat elimination techniques are methods of behavioral modification such as Atkins, South Beach, Grapefruit Only right up to and including procedures such as Lap Band surgery. Lap Band surgery is the most radical of all of these as it requires surgery to install and adjust and if you happen to eat too large a piece of food it will come right back up, regardless of where you happen to be. Overall, you will see advertisements that say Go to this web-site for information, click here for fat burners, and call now for special 2 for 1 pricing or free shipping.
My advice to those of you who may be contemplating these very decisions? Click through to them all! That's right, click on all of them and do your homework, ask questions, talk to friends or even someone else in a store aisle that's looking at the products too. Read up on Cortisol therapy articles and phosphacore reviews, not to mention the other Cortisol treatments and supplements. They may know something that you don't, yet. I chose my way to lose the weight I want to lose and you must choose the way that's right for you. The way I'm doing it has a lot of cheats and I had to add them to the diet to slow it down. You need to allow your body to adjust to a NEW weight and REMEMBER it so if you happen to 'fall off' you can get back on with less struggle. The best of luck to you in weight loss!

In the Fight On Acne, Powerful Weapons Are Drawn
I really feel for teenagers when it comes to the holidays and trying to put your best face forward. The only trouble is that there are pimples, or acne, present and can be very unnerving to teenagers. Of course acne is not just for the young. Adults can be prone to acne as the body changes and hormonal influences take control, or lack of control, producing the annoying whiteheads and blackheads of acne, to a different degree. The teens of today have a marked advantage over when I was a teen. There is quality skin care such as accutane and acne cream to make outbreaks short-lived. We used to have to do the washes and exfoliation with scrubs along with benzoyl peroxide creams. Today's acne treatment is a simple process with quick results. Today there is no excuse for anyone to not hit that trendy holiday party or ask that special someone on a date because of a pimple. Treatment is ready and waiting and quick!

How Do I Get Myself Into These Things?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not an ogre when it comes to doing for others. just don't like going shopping for intimate or personal care products for women in stores. It's sort of embarrassing for everybody involved, mostly me! Sure, send me out for groceries, dry cleaning, movie rentals, whatever! Just don't send me out for Stayfree pads, Midol, Sally Hanson nail hardener, youthology 90 second eye serum, eye cream, or hair dye. Please, anything but hair dyes. The clerks look at the box then at my hair and they must think it's for me and then know it has to be because now I'm getting red faced while they pause with it in their hand so others can now see it. Things like Midol they know aren't for me and I can look elsewhere while they ring it up and they probably think "oh, what a nice guy getting this for his girl". Bah, not unless there are no other options! Why not buy a pre-supply of things like dyes, creams and water pills from on-line resources? I think it's a great idea until hear "I wonder how I'd look as a redhead?" I think I'm going to need to the store for some Advil after that, for me! She does have pretty eyes though! Be strong, be strong.

Hit the Weights or Hit the Bricks
Well, I've been somewhat stymied lately that I haven't been able to affect my continued weight loss any better than I have been. I seem to hit plateaus, or should I say negative plateaus, and not matter what I do or eat it seems to have little or no impact. Last weekend I cheated with carrot cake( a piece a day for 4 days) and my weight didn't move on the scale. This week I'm a bit nervous because I'm on vacation for a week and there are so many tasty things available outside of work. Yum! No, I won't go off the deep end, I'm leaning towards using a health club and using some hard core commercial fitness equipment in my regimen. In so far as my weight goals I'm going to take this free time and do a physical fitness jump start towards the next lower plateau. I figure that I can use some type of free weights to get the blood moving with the resistance aspects of the weights and maybe I'll pick up some dumbbells or something, even wrist and ankle weights then go for some productive walks, nothing too bad, maybe 3 or 4 miles or so depending on how I feel. I have to do something to trim down that middle age belly further. I've been taking some digital pics of my progress for inspiration and it actually works, I can see a marked difference in my body profile. I'm still overweight but it is decreasing and that's my motivation to continue, like I did when I quit smoking. My doctor still doesn't believe that it's been over 2 years without a cigarette. I thought he was supposed to preach to me about it! What a tool he is, I've already picked out a new doctor because I've lost confidence in this guy to provide me with adequate and proper medical care. This M.D. likes to order expensive tests for illnesses I could never ever get because I have good insurance. My new doc is a woman because I can talk more openly with a woman than a man about personal health issues. Call me weird but at least I'm seeing a doctor and not avoiding it.

What To Do and How To Do (or rather UNDO)
While trying to cope with the debris and other logistics regarding the tree that decided to take a nap on my pool enclosure I had a realization. I gotta lose some weight. I was hefting some, what used to be, easily handled debris and kept finding myself out of breath and those bend-over and pickup the branch moves suddenly got trickier to do than ever before. I wasn't out of breath due to my smoking because I quit that 2 years ago this May. It was the 'gut factor' getting in the way! The trouble is that I get up so early for work and get home so late. This leaves me almost zero time to exercise like I should because by the time I get home I'm too tired to do it. What I need is something that I can take to curb those munchy moments at work and home that isn't a scam. I don't believe in spending money on things that don't work because I have to work to get the money to spend on it! I figure that I should spend some time on the Internet and do some research on diet aids and their products effects and expected results and then decide. I'll probably get my doctor involved, even though he's an exercise advocate, and he's right about that too. Exercise is a necessary component to any weight loss program but I just need to get a jump start on the eating part of it.

Spring Into a More Beautiful Summer
One of my other blogs has been getting a lot of attention regarding some posts I've made regarding weight loss products and other types of supplements. I have to be very careful as to what types of supplements I take because I take a Beta Blocker for my blood pressure and things like Ginseng and Flax could potentially cause my meds to not work. That would be counter productive for my greater health issues. What did Fernando say..It is better to LOOK good than to FEEL good! You get the drift. I've inserted a link in this article that provides useful information on diet pills, colon cleansers, acne meds, fat burners, wrinkle cream, sleeping pills, and bodybuilding products. It's pretty informative with breakdowns on many known items with ingredients and uses. My advice: before taking any herbal based supplements contact your pharmacist if you currently take prescription drugs like BP meds, statins, etc and see about negative interactions. It's good to be slim but it's better to be alive and healthy.

I Was Just Looking for a Deal
I finally had my taxes done and I now know that I CAN get a new lawnmower. Ole Betsy just can't cut it anymore and she needs to go to the last clipping round-up. Well, she actually can still cut pretty well but the transmission is shot and it gets painfully hot in the Florida summer to be pushing a mower up an incline several times in an hour.
I narrowed my search down on that popular consumer website that rates cars, cameras, mowers, etc not to mention doing reviews and opinions on things like extended warranties. I like when a trusted site will do something like car insurance reviews, new car reviews, refrigerator, washer and dryer reviews and summarize it all up with a recommendation status indicator. I'm not going to mention this well known site because if you know it that's great, if you don't you really should find it and use it.
