My First Place

Buying my first place was nerve-racking but boy does it feel good to finally be moved in and to be a real homeowner! I can’t believe it took this long for me to get all settled and I’m starting to work now on all that other extra stuff like decorating. I got some curtains and blinds for my bedroom (who sleeps without blinds?) and I’m going to call someone on Monday about putting in granite countertops. I went to DirectSTARTV.com when I first moved in to get satellite since I’m really into sports and can hardly live a day without my ESPN! I just really like being able to do whatever I want to this place because I own it – no one to answer to but myself and the market! I may even plant some brightly colored flowers out back just because no one can tell me what I can and can’t do in my own backyard! I feel like a kid with new found freedom or something, not an adult with a mortgage…
